TEXTURES To Film DVD Documentary; 'Ostensibly Impregnable' Video Posted Online
September 17, 2005Dutch progressive metallers TEXTURES will be filming their performance tonight (Sept. 17) at W2 in Den Bosch, Holland for a short DVD documentary, to be released in conjunction with their new studio album, tentatively due next spring.
In other news, TEXTURES were recently invited by multimedia company Alpha 69 (on behalf of Nokia) to appear in their new Silence Booth TV commercial. "There was no script, they were just expected to kick ass and try and break the glass!" according to a press release.
TEXTURES' video for the track "Ostensibly Impregnable", taken from their self-produced debut CD, "Polars" — originally released through the group's own label (and later reissued through France's Listenable Records) — has been made available download at this location (Quicktime required).
Upcoming TEXTURES shows:
Sep. 17 – Den Bosch, NETH @ WII
Sep. 24 – Diepenbeek, BEL @ Terlogt Limburgian Metal Fest
Sep. 30 – Niort, FRA @ Kao's Core 4
Oct. 01 – Quimperlé, FRA @ Soiree Metal
